Busts of Septimius Severus (wearing paludamentum and cuirass) and Julia Domna (draped), facing right, jugate, with the empress behind.

Reverse Type

At right, a river god (the Yarmouk, labeled), draped around the legs, reclines against a rock while holding a reed in his right hand. A fish is visible swimming upstream in a river beside the rock. To the left stands a figure (Tyche?) wearing a long dress and perhaps holding a cornucopia.
